26th. May – Fantastic Dahlias

A quick update to let you know we have some fantastic Dahlias in stock this week. Because it’s been such a warm spring our tubers have made some lovely strong plants which are just starting to flower and should keep going all summer. We have 2 very tasteful deep reds – Arabian Night and Nuit D’Ete and one more ‘in your face’ colour – Tahiti Sunrise which has an amazing combination of purple, pink and yellow. A real stunner. Finally we also have the ever popular Bishop of Llandaff with its deep purple foliage and bright red single flowers.

We’ve also been having a bit of a clear up around the nursery and we have a lot of spare 9cm. round plant pots and carrying trays which are free to a good home if you can collect them from us. Very useful for your bedding or vegetable plants! These dwarf hybrid Alstoemerias are fantastic garden plants with some beautiful colours and long flowering period. They always sell out quickly so do come and check them out – they should arrive on Thursday or Friday!
